Boat ride

A word of caution; the steps from Gouri-Kedareshwar are very steep and high. Those who have knee or leg problem taking a boat ride is not a possibility. In that case one can take a boat from Dashashwamedh Ghat, go to Panchganga or beyond and then turn around back to Gouri-Kedareshwar or beyond and then return back to Dashashwamedh. This will cost of course more as the boatman will have to row against the current from Panchganga back to Gouri-Kedareshwar. 

If one is planning to make a full circle on the boat then it’s better to get a motor boat than a row boat. The price is negotiable.

Temple visit

Auto or toto is suggested. Inform the driver of the disability and ask him to take as close to the temple as possible. 

It is also advisable to hire auto for an entire day if planning exhaustive itinerary.
